Our story…
The lovely Hornbags team (name originated from Kath & Kim - moi Hornbags) originated approx over 10 years ago, when a group of strong amazing women came together from the Genetics fitness gym. They agreed to meet up every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday to run, chat and go for coffee. Years on, this group of ladies have gone on to participate in numerous running events, achieving great things and have formed lifetime friendships supporting each other in life.
Run Against Violence is about raising funds to deliver programs to raise awareness about Family Violence.
RAV is on a mission to create a healthy relationship culture within our local communities, to remove the stigma and social barriers that often stop people talking about their experiences with violence and ask for help when needed.

Help give young Australians access to healthy relationship education.
During the 2022 RAV Virtual Team Challenge, 100% of donations made via registration and fundraising pages will go directly to NAPCAN and the Love Bites program.
During the past 2 years, Run Against Violence has donated $200,000 to the Love Bites program. We are on a mission to ensure every teenager in Australia can learn about what healthy relationships look like for them.
