The 11th Annual Race at the Saint Charles Oktoberfest will feature fast and flat 5K and 10K distances throughout the historic St. Charles area. The course winds through the best of what St. Charles has to offer - including the Katy Trail, historic Main Street and Frenchtown District. The races finish at one of the biggest riverfront festivals in St. Charles - The St. Charles Oktoberfest!

All 5K and 10K registrants will receive a commemorative medal, shirt, and custom race bib. Participants over 21 years of age will receive one FREE beer immediately after the race at the Michelob Ultra tent at the Jaycee Stage. There will be a ticket on your bib to redeem for your free beer. Race participants 21+ will also receive a free beer bracelet on race day that allows them to drink at the festival when presenting a valid photo ID.


***All participants are guaranteed a shirt, custom race bib, and Finisher’s medal. This year’s race is limited to 700 participants.***

***No refunds will be issued for inclement weather or if you are unable to attend for any reason. No transferring of race registration is allowed.***

Additional Event Information

Start Times

  • 10K/5K – 8:30 am
  • As we have in the past, the 10K and 5K hand Cyclers will start at 8:30 am, with 10K and 5K runners and walkers a couple minutes after.

Location

Historic Saint Charles. The Start and finish will be in Frontier Park at the Saint Charles Oktoberfest festival.

Swag

All participants will receive a custom bib with beer ticket (for ages 21+), finisher medal and custom event shirt.

Shirt sizes available: Child Small, Medium, Large, and Adult Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL. Shirt sizes will be first come, first serve at packet pickup. T-shirts will only be available while supplies last.

Post Race

Water will be available at the finish line. Participants over 21 years of age will receive one FREE beer after the race. There will be a ticket on your bib to redeem for your free beer. Race participants 21+ will also receive a free beer bracelet on race day that allows them to drink at the festival on race day.

Registration

Registration is now open to the first 1,000 participants.

Packet Pick-up

  • Packet pick-up is at Fleet Feet St. Charles located at 3813 Mexico Rd. Saint Charles, MO 63303
    • Friday September 23 – 4pm to 7pm
    • Saturday September 24 – 12pm to 4pm
  • The morning of the race, packet pick up/registration is at Frontier Park
    • Sunday September 25 – 7:30 am – 8:30 am

Course

The fast flat course winds through the best of what St. Charles has to offer – historic Main Street, Frenchtown District, and even the scenic Katy Trail! All while ending in one of the best riverfront festivals in St. Charles – the Saint Charles Oktoberfest!

Awards

The awards ceremony will take place at the Jaycee Stage. 5K and 10K awards will be presented to (female and male) first, second and third place overall finishers. 5K and 10K first place female and male finishers will also be given awards in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over. 5K and 10K Hand Cycle Division Awards will be presented (female and male) to first, second, and third place overall. All 10K and 5K participants will receive a commemorative medal.
