ABOUT
The Race for Research is a 5k charity road race with all proceeds going to the Jimmy Fund. This year's event will be held at 600 Federal Street, Andover Massachusetts starting at 11am on Sunday October 9, 2022.
MISSION
Each year, the Race for Research will select a focus area within the Jimmy Fund to donate proceeds in the hopes of improving the standard of care and therapies for cancer treatment. This year, all proceeds from the event will be go to the Hematologic Oncology Fund. The standard of care for the most common types of leukemia, like AML, have not changed in over 40 years until recently. Proceeds from Race for Research will support promising treatments like stem cell therapy that promise to improve the outcomes for patients around the world.
