Firebolt 5k -Virtual and In-Person Options for 2022
In-Person Partcipants
Join us for the 5th Annual Firebolt 5k and Race of 100 Harrys in scenic Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton, VA. (Just a short walk to the QCMM Festival) Race festivities will begin at 8am on Saturday, September 24th, 2022. More specific information about the timeline for the day coming soon.
Virtual Participants
Will you still get a cool house t-shirt? Yes
Will you still get the 4th part of our 4 part medal? Yes
Will you pick your course, day, and time to run? Yes
In September you will receive a package in the mail with your house t-shirt and cool finisher's medal. 5k finishers receive part 4 of our four-part medal series.
On Saturday, September 24th - hit the road in your favorite potter swag or our cool race t-shirt and upload your pics to our social media page.
Upload your run/walk time. More details to come. (this will help determine the winning house and award house cup points during the festival.
Let's talk Medals:
In 2019 we unveiled a 4 part medal. Each piece represents a Hogwarts House and they will magnet together to create the full Hogwarts Crest.
2019- Gryffindor
2020- Ravenclaw
2021- Slytherin
2022- Hufflepuff
***If you are new to the race and would like to purchase 2019, 2020, or 2021 medals you may do so during registration. Limited quantities are available***
Race of 100 Harrys
This is typically a one-mile walk/run for children 10 and under. Race of 100 Harrys' finishers also receive their own t-shirt (children's sizes only), lightning bolt tattoo, and an extra cool finisher's medal. Keep an eye on social media for our medal reveal.
VIP, Very Important Potter Package
The Very Important Potter Package includes a character wand, wizard glasses, and a Gryffindor Robe (ONE SIZE ONLY: Approximately Child's Size 8)
The VIP package can not be shipped, local pick up only.
