Pumpkin Spice 5K: Thanksgiving Special

Providing access to clean, safe drinking water for communities in rural Zambia.

Dear participants,

Good Neighbors Canada's Pumpkin Spice 5K fundraiser returns for 2022! Join us as we Step for Water, walking or running the distance of 5K to fundraise for the Wishing Well Project.

The Wishing Well Project supports children in rural Zambia who need to walk up to 4 hours each day in search of water, and who frequently suffer from contaminated water sources and waterborne diseases. Good Neighbors Canada is fundraising to build accessible wells to provide communities with safe, clean drinking water, to keep the population healthy and ensure kids can stay in school.

100% of all proceeds go directly to the costs associated with building the wells. Participants have the option at checkout to cover the transaction fee, a small percentage taken from our website host Race Roster, so no funding is lost.

Participants are invited to complete their 5K from anywhere in Canada on any date throughout October and can join the Runkeeper app to race alongside the virtual participant community.

Our in-person event took place on Saturday, October 8th, at London's Greenway Park.

No matter how you participate, you will make a meaningful difference to our neighbours in Zambia who will no longer need to make a long commute to obtain safe water.

Earlybird pricing runs until August 31st for a $5 discount!

Teams of 4 or more who sign up at the same time (must add 4+ tickets to your cart at once) will receive a further discount of $5 from their entry fee.
