GIRLS ON THE RUN OTTAWA PROGRAM!
Desjardins Run to Empower supports and promotes the advancement of women’s running in Canada, encouraging all women to own their place on the podium.
Endeavoring to highlight remarkable local talent, Run to Empower includes a performance race for women only, provides an opportunity for all humans to run together in celebration of women’s running, and looks to inspire the next generation by introducing young runners to strong, empowered role models.
All registration fees include Desjardins Run to Empower medal, timing by Sportstats, finisher photos, and post-race treats!
To offer participants the opportunity to reduce their environmental footprint and support their community, Run Ottawa has a Green Bib option at registration. The Green Bib does not include a medal or a race t-shirt (unless purchased), instead, $10 of your registration fee goes to the OSEG Foundation Girls on the Run Ottawa program, and your contribution will be matched by the 2022 Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend Green Bib Fund. You can also top up your donation at the end of the registration process. Thank you!
Girls on the Run is a nonprofit organization designed to enhance participants' social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Our fun, interactive lessons meet the unique needs of participants of all abilities and backgrounds. Their mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
On-line registration closes Sunday, September 25th at 11:59pm. On-site registration will be available. Pre-registration is encouraged to receive the best price!
