Help us raise money

On August 24, 2022 our world came crashing down when we unexpectedly lost our baby boy and girl, Ryder and Rachel, due to early labour at 20 weeks into pregnancy. Despite the inexplicable pain and shock, we have also been overwhelmed and grateful for the ongoing generosity and support, and many still reach out to ask how they can help. For anyone interested, and in a position to do so, we invite you to consider donating to the Butterfly Run’s largest fundraising campaign of the year. 

The Butterfly Run Ottawa aims to raise awareness and support around pregnancy loss, infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and infertility in Ottawa and surrounding areas. All proceeds from the run are donated to Roger Neilson House (RNH), a wonderful organization providing pediatric palliative care; support and bereavement services for parents who have lost a baby or child; and many other services for families dealing with these devastating circumstances. The RNH has helped us start to navigate life after losing our beautiful twin babies and will continue to support us in our healing journey. We hope that in fundraising we can show our appreciation and bring more awareness to these incredibly important organizations.
