A family-friendly cycling event with supported rides for adults and safety training for children.
Rise to the challenge of riding out of the Dundas valley - where Canadian Olympians train.
Route distances are 60km, 100km and 160km, with elevation gains from less then 500m to over 1,000m.
All routes are GPS-supported, with printed maps available. Map images are shown below.
Rest stations (water and snacks) will be spaced at appropriate intervals.
Lunch will be waiting for you at the finish.
Adult riders will enjoy late-summer cycling at its finest. Starting in picturesque Dundas ON, our routes climb the Niagara escarpment and wind along paved rural roads through rolling countryside and pastoral landscapes
For children aged 8-11, the Ride Smart skills and safety training program will be presented by New Hope Community Bikes in the Dundas Driving Park. See registration details below.
Your participation in this event will support the charitable works of the Rotary Club of Dundas, including:
- Margaret's Place Hospice
- Routes Youth Centre
- Global Polio Eradication.
The Dundas Driving Park at 71 Cross St, Dundas includes:
- Playgrounds and picnic shelters
- Large trees and grassed areas
- Public washrooms
- Free onsite parking (for the early birds)
- Free municipal parking within 1 km (no charge on Sunday)
