Help Mike raise money

Hi there! Thank you for taking a second out of your day to visit my fundraising page here with Paint Pittston Pink. My name is Mike Duffy, and I’m the Program Director and midday host at 979X.

It’s unfortunately not hard to see just how many people are affected by cancer in some way. You probably have a family member, friend, coworker, neighbor… or sadly… all of those, that has been touched by and/or battling cancer. And it sucks. It truly does.

Can we help? We sure can! Through your generosity, Paint Pittston Pink has donated over $600,000 to cancer research. The thing I love about Paint Pittston Pink is that it brings the community together to support a cure for ALL cancers.

With that in mind… I’m running in memory of my Dad. My father, who I’m proud to share not only my name with… but also my son’s, passed away at the young age of 56 from leukemia. It was sudden, and unexpected, and to say I miss him every day is an understatement. He was full of life, a proud husband, father, and grandfather, and often times a character! 😊  I’m excited to be able to participate in Paint Pittston Pink’s ‘Gentleman’s Dash’ in his memory. It’s something he’d do.
