This is a virtual event.
How far can you run in 24 hours?
You have 24 hours over the course of August to find the answer. You can divide up the 24 hours however you see fit. Do you want to break it up into smaller chunks, or maybe run it all at once?
Don't feel like running that much in the August heat? Not to worry, you can run less than 24 hours as well.
This challenge is free.
Tracking:
Track your time and kilometres. Once you get to 24 hours, you can't add any more kilometres.
You will be able to record your kilometres in Race Roster so that you can encourage one another, and engage in some friendly competition.
Please try to log your kilometres at least two or three times a week (every day is more fun, but we will keep this casual).
During the final week, you should log your kilometres daily.
We will be operating on the honour system, no need for watch pictures, Strava files etc.
Feel free to post about your runs in the London Ontario Running Challenges Facebook group.
Points:
You will earn 1 point per kilometre. In addition, bonus points will be awared to the runners with the ten highest kilometre totals as follows:
1st = 500 points
