My Story…
This is my first year participating in the 4th annual our Tour D'Aldershot to support Next Door Social Space, affiliated with the church I attend.
Next Door Social Space and Kitchen provides fresh, ready made meals to Burlington food banks as well as additional programming providing social, emotional and spiritual support for low income community members and those experiencing marginalization. I love what Next Door embodies and have personally been involved in different events such as making soups during the initial covid lockdown.
I will be riding 40km which even though it's been several months since I rode a bike, I managed to survive the 50km bike for brain health on the very hilly DVP also without having rode a bike in awhile.... so I think (I hope!) it'll be great and looking forward to it!
