Hope Coalition

When we first started in 2013 as a community response to the opioid epidemic, we had no idea how many lives we would touch or how much our programs would mean to our small corner of the world. 

We believe that long-term recovery from substance misuse is possible for anyone and want to keep guiding others in that journey. We're also incredibly passionate about our most important and often overlooked population: our kiddos! Providing substance misuse education and prevention efforts has helped us reach thousands of students in Henderson County. This is what gets us out of bed every morning.

We always want to do more to help and that's why we need you! Here is what your donations make possible:

• Expanded peer support and recovery programs for youth, families, and adults.
• Continued support for the Henderson County Youth Council. Building leadership skills and providing youth purpose is a great prevention strategy!
• Activities for the annual Week of Hope, where we partner with Henderson County schools to take a public stand against substance misuse.
• Expansion of Handle With Care, which helps first responders communicate with schools to provide trauma-informed care and support to students.  
• So much more!
