Alyssa was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome at the young age of 3. Who knew that at 20 years young, we are still trying to find a « miracle » to help her live a better life. Over the years, her seizures have evolved and her meds increased yet she still has clusters of seizures on a daily basis. We need more research in Canada to help children like Alyssa who suffer with this debilitating syndrome.
