Outrun the Season
We get it: when the outside temperature drops, so does motivation. Count on Fleet Feet to keep you moving this winter!
Stay accountable with a training plan complete with daily assignments for running, walking, cross training, and recovery. Stay motivated by joining two in-person group training runs per week, led by Fleet Feet's team of experienced coaches.
Description: Group training program guided by a daily training plan and led by Fleet Feet coaches
Dates: October 3 - December 4, 2022 (9 weeks)
Locations: Training groups offered in Sacramento, Davis, and Elk Grove
Days and Times: 6:00 PM on Wednesdays; 7:00 AM on Saturdays. Practices take place simultaneously in all three locations.
Suggested activity level prior to program start: At least 4 days of exercise per week, for at least 40-60 minutes per session. Ability to cover 3 miles continuously on foot (running, walking, or a combination of both).
Winter Warriors will prepare athletes for these events:
Run to Feed the Hungry 10K (November 24)
Davis Turkey Trot 10K (November 19)
Elk Grove Gobble Wobble 5K (November 24)
California International Marathon 2-Person Relay (December 4)
