Let's get excited for the 2022 10th Annual "Run for the Lights" 5K

The Chippewa Falls Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you and your organization to join us for the 10^th Annual “Run for the Lights” 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Held at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, this family-fun event supports the Christmas Village in Irvine Park that welcomes visitors to enjoy a holiday light display like no other.

In past years the 5K “Run for the Lights” event has hosted nearly 400 participants and we hope to exceed that amount this year! The race will start at 4:00pm and conclude as participants enter the Christmas Village as the lights turn on!

Registration Information

Stay tuned for our "Early-Bird Registration" for our 10th Annual Run for the Lights 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk, on September 26-Oct 16.

This annual event supports the Irvine Park Christmas Village and allows us to expand year after year! Early-Bird registration is $20/person (includes long-sleeve race shirt) and is available online or in-person at the Parks & Rec Office through Friday, October 14th! Grab your friends and family and join us for a run/walk through Irvine Park, ending in the Christmas Village as it lights up!

Registration check-in begins at 2:45pm at the Irvine Park- Activity Building with the race starting promptly at 4:00pm. Follow the link below for additional information and online registration!
