Join us for our 5th annual Brighter Futures 5K Run/Walk, benefiting Kids' Chance of PA!

5K Race - Returning In-Person This Year!

The 5K is a professional, chip-timed event on a well-marked, accurately measured course. You'll be on a walking path encircling Manor Middle School and Hambright Elementary, as well as a path in the adjacent John G. Herr Park. The course is paved and mostly flat, with a few gradual upgrades.

Race Amenities

• Goody bag if pre-registered by 10/24
• Door prizes (must be present to win)
• Water station for humans and dogs
• Restroom facilities and plenty of free parking
• Pre-race coffee and post-race refreshments

5K In-Person Awards

• 1st Male/Female Overall Winners: $100
• 2nd Male/Female Overall Winners: $50
• 3rd Male/Female Overall Winners: $25

Recognition for top three male/female finishers in age groups: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+ Must be present to receive your award--they will not be mailed.

5K Race - Virtual Option

Want to participate but can't make it on November 5th? You can still take part virtually! Just select the virtual option during registration. Virtual participants won't receive swag bags or awards, but if you submit your time by Monday, November 7th, you will be entered into a drawing for one of several gift certificates. ProAssurance employees who register and submit their times will also gain Pravo points for their participation!

Kids Fun Run - NEW THIS YEAR

The Kids Fun Run is for ages 12 and under. It will take place right before the 5K, in a .25 mile loop in front of the school. All Kids Fun Run participants will receive ribbons--no other awards provided.
