Introducing the
EQT Pittsburgh Ultimate 10K + 10 Miler
Virtual Challenge!
We heard you! So many of you have reached out to share that you didn’t think you could be ready to run the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler or inaugural 10K this year but didn’t want to miss the fun celebrating the 10th anniversary of the EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler. We don’t want you to miss out either! So we put in some extra work to create the first-ever EQT Pittsburgh Ultimate 10K + 10 Miler Virtual Challenge!
Here’s what you can expect:
3 weeks of challenges, with 4-5 challenges each week:
Week 1: Your total distance will be 10K (6.2 miles)
Week 2: Your total distance will be 10 miles
Week 3: Your total distance will be 16.2 miles (the 10K and the 10 Miler combined!)
The challenges might have something to do with distance, active time, elevation, or even what you’re wearing. You can walk, jog, run, or roll (bike!) each challenge - however you want to MOVE! Since the EQT Pittsburgh 10K and 10 Miler are the most Pittsburgh races ever, each challenge will reflect a fun fact about Pittsburgh! We’ve included our math to make the paces and distances work out, but you can MOVE at whatever pace you want.
You can join our Facebook group to complete each challenge with your fellow MOVERS and/or share your stats on your own social media using #ultimate10miler
The first challenge starts the week of November 6, and you complete your challenges in any order on any day you like (and you can start whenever you want, too!)
When you’re done, we’ll mail you the 2022 EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler quarter-zip, BOTH the 10K and 10 Miler medals, and beanie to celebrate your accomplishment!
