Spectators are welcome, but must purchase a Spectator pass in order to partake in the post-race festivities, food and drink! Kids are welcome, but must be registered to enter the race course. Are dogs allowed? There are NO DOGS ALLOWED at this event, except for registered service dogs. Dogs are not permitted on UNC Charlotte campus at the post-race festival. What does ZERO WASTE mean for me?We are running towards zero waste by eliminating as much waste as possible for our race. What you can expect: This is a cupless race, which means you have to carry your own water cup to fill on the course and at the finish line. But don't worry! We'll give you a collapsible cup to carry on the run with you. DO NOT THROW YOUR CUP AWAY. You will reuse this cup for your finish line water, beer and other beverages. Food will be served in biodegradable food containers at all of our participating food trucks. We're working with Envision Charlotte to ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling at the event. Please be mindful of instructions of waste management volunteers. Enjoy a virtual goodie bag! Once registered for the race, you'll receive a link to a virtual goodie bag with freebies and deals from local vendors. Smaller race bibs: Because the material used to make race bibs is not recyclable, we've cut the size of our bibs in half to reduce bib waste. |
