Every year, Run the Highlands serves as a highly anticipated, family-friendly event that brings the community together — and gives back all at the same time. In 2023, we're excited to be back in person again with a children's carnival full of games and activities.
The funds we raise from your race registration, donation and/or sponsorship are given directly back to Lake Highlands. This year, our philanthropy project will refresh and expand a local park's playground area so even more children can enjoy playing outside. As Lake Highlands continues to grow, the parks our kids love should meet their needs with fresh and inclusive play spaces that make our community beautiful.
Race Details:
7:30 AM: Streets close
8:00 AM: Warm-up begins
8:30 AM: 5K Race* begins across from the Lake Highlands North Aquatic Center
8:45 AM: 1K/Family Trail Walk begins
9:00 AM-11:30 AM: Carnival!
Discounts:
Youth discounts of $5 for 12 and under will be automatically applied at the end of your transaction.
Groups of 4 or more in the same transaction will get $5 off each registration and will be automatically applied at the end of your transaction.
