The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association, established in 1978, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated specifically to raising funds for charitable youth organizations and running programs in the Tampa Bay area. Its mission is carried out through the administration of the annual Publix Super Markets Gasparilla Distance Classic Race Weekend and Jr. Gasparilla Distance Classic, and has donated $6 Million to date!
At this time, we don’t anticipate there will be a need for any mitigation efforts. COVID-19 infection rates continue to decline across most of the country, but a reversal of this trend is possible at any time. I understand there is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in all 2023 PGDC Race Weekend Events and surrounding areas.
By registering for, participating in, or attending any of the 2023 PGDC Race Weekend Events, I expressly agree to comply with, if announced at a later date, any and all 2023 PGDC Race Weekend COVID-19 Protocols put in place by the Gasparilla Distance Classic Association (GDCA). I voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 during the 2023 PGDC Race Weekend Events.
