Welcome to the famous Rocky Point Triathlon hosted in beautiful Puerto Peñasco, Mexico at the Las Palomas Resort and Spa! The Rocky Point Triathlon has been awarded the Best Triathlon Party in the World by Triathlon Magazine and for good reason! The host resort, Las Palomas, is an incredible venue for your triathlon vacation.

Nestled along the incredible Sea of Cortez, the triathlon has an ocean swim along the shore line (great for beginners), a mostly closed bike course (also great for beginners!) and a beautiful run through the private Las Palomas Golf Course. Best of all, you finish on the beach right in front of the resort! This is the perfect laid back triathlon for beginners and veteran multi-sport athletes. There is a distance for everyone in your party - Olympic (1000 meter swim, 26 mile bike, 6.2 mile run), Sprint (500 meter swim, 9.4 mile bike, 3.1 mile run), or the 10k and 5k run!

All participants get a finisher medal, t-shirt, free beer, and Mexican food.

Participants, family, and friends enjoy an after-race pool party with 4 hours of live music!

Don't miss this incredible triathlon vacation; stay a bit longer to visit our amazing town of Puerto Peñasco. It is just a 225 mile drive from downtown Scottsdale or Tucson, and 300 miles from San Diego.
