1 km Run for Kids - 2 year Wave starts for kids from 1 yr old (with an adult) to 12 years old - oldest start first. The route is south along Brant street then a quick turn North - Children will be within eye site of parents for 100% of the run

KIDSFEST AND KIDS FUN RUN
Our Kidsfest and Meredith Hagen Kids 1k Fun Run have been an integral part of our Moon in June festivities for 22 years. Bring the kids early to enjoy our many activities and attractions at the KidFest from 4:00 - 6:30pm. The Meredith Hagen 1k Kids run begins (in waves) at 6:30. Make it a full evening of activity, with a medal and freezie for each finishers (along with pizza and a drink).

Teams, Schools, organizations who sign up 6 or more people can receive this 15% discount.
Age Restrictions
5K participants 8 years and older. Younger participants are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
10k participants 14 years and older. Younger participants are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Course
The Moon in June course is a flat fast one loop certified 5k and 2 loop certified 10km of downtown Burlington. The route highlights the fabulous Burlington Waterfront starting and finishing at the blue clock in front of City Hall. Participants are encouraged to make MIJ a family affair while supporting Radius Child and Youth Services.
All participants who register prior to May 13th will be given a Moon in June our custom MiJ t-shirt at registration package pick up, and a finishing medal.
Post Race
The Moon in June will be supporting downtown businesses with post race gift certificates at various downtown locations
Bag Check
Bag Check will be available on Race night
Cycle Corral
The Moon in June will provide a supervised bicycle corral for bike parking during KidsFest and the race. Please be sure to have your bicycle locked even in our corral. NOTE bicycles must be removed no later than 30 mins after finishing.
