My Story…
I am walking the 5K to raise money for the ALS Association. My cousin, Roger and his wife, Kristy, shared last month that Kristy's loss of dexterity in her hands and legs were the beginning of her ALS symptoms. Kristy has been the school volunteer turned XC mom, turned track mom, turned dance mom. She works for her school district and loves to travel. She is the mom of three and is facing this fight with her husband, Roger. She is feisty and loves her family fiercely.
ALS just showed up in our family - unwelcomed and uninvited. We are learning there needs to be more help for patients, more research and more medicines to stop this disease. 1 in 300 will be diagnosed with ALS. Years ago, we did the ice bucket challenge to raise funds and awareness. We need the donations to continue and to spread awareness to help slow this down for Kristy and help others. Join my team, Kristy's Tribe, if you would like to walk with me. Kindly donate and share this with those around you and your company. Encourage your company to consider donating to the ALS Association. We need the attention and funding to slow the progression of ALS and find a cure. Thank you for considering!
Donate to help Jill raise money for 2023 Cleveland Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
