Charlevoix Marathon
Welcome to the Charlevoix Marathon! We are so excited to host you on one of the most beautiful running courses in the world. Whether you're trying to qualify for Boston in the full marathon, or challenging yourself at our half marathon, 10km or 5km course, you're in for an amazing start line on the famous Bridge Street, along Lake Michigan and finishing in old town Charlevoix and Round Lake!
There are so many reasons that Running Magazine named the Charlevoix Marathon as one of the best "Small Town Marathons" in the nation. Maybe it's the great lodging, where you can roll out of bed and walk to the start line, or it's the beautiful packet pick up/expo location over seeing the Beaver Island Ferry and gorgeous Round Lake. Maybe it's the great dining before and after the race in historic downtown. The course ventures through beautiful Charlevoix neighborhoods, around our ski mountain "Mount McSauba", down the tree lined roads, along the lakeshore and then turn around at the vast Little Traverse Bay. The course has just enough running traffic to feel the excitement of a big marathon, without any of the pains of major crowds.

- Charlevoix Marathon will follow the State of Michigan guidelines in regards to Covid-19 mandates.

You will receive your bib, shirt and medal. Run on your own time at your own place. No need to turn in your time but a picture would be great for our photo gallery.

FAQs
Are there a minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, There's minimum age limits for the marathon - age 16. 14 for the half.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There's plenty of parking close to the race.
Is this event a Boston qualifier?
Yes!!!!
Are there overall and age group awards?

Can I run with a stroller?
Yes but only on the 5K course.
Can I run with a dog?
No, though we love our dogs, we can't allow them on the course.
What's the refund policy?
There is a no-refund policy unless you are active military and have been called up for duty.
Do I have to bring my printed registration confirmation to the event?
Nope! We have your information.
Is my registration fee or registration transferable?

Is it ok if the name on my registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No. All registrations must be in the name of the person who is running.
Race Insurance
We offer the Fan Shield race insurance through our registration company, Race Roster. Should you need to use it, please click here and follow the instructions.
