My Story…
This year, I'm dedicating my ride in the 2023 Triple Bypass to my sister, Michele, who's living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). Once an exceptionally avid runner, this condition makes even walking difficult for Michele.
Together, we're working to raise funds for the FSHD Society. Your donation will benefit an organization deeply committed to accelerating research leading to treatments and a cure. Triple Bypass has captured my attention and passion as an amateur competitive cyclist. Now, thanks to the efforts of Team Evergreen Cycling, I can use this exciting event as a platform to fundraise for the FSHD Society. This organization helps my sister and everyone else with FSHD live their best lives.

The FSHD Society is the World’s prominent, research-focused, patient advocacy organization focused solely on facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). They have multiple Chapters across the U.S. and Canada and are part of the World FSHD Alliance, active in more than 20 countries. Their mission is to find treatments and a cure for FSHD while empowering our families through education and advocacy.
About Team Evergreen Cycling
Team Evergreen Cycling is the oldest and largest cycling club in Colorado. It produces the Triple Bypass (and many more big cycling events) and hosts numerous other rides and events throughout the year. As a non-profit organization, Team Evergreen has donated nearly $4 million to local charitable and advocacy organizations.
About Triple Bypass
Triple Bypass is a bike ride (and race) through Colorado's Rocky Mountains and has been one of the most exciting events in the world of amateur cycling for over 30 years. Starting in Evergreen and ending in Avon, 5,000 determined riders will cover 120 miles and climb 11,000 feet, crossing three mountain passes—Juniper, Loveland, and Vail—during their challenging journey to the finish.
