Our story…
The physicians and staff of St. Louis Cancer Care are committed to excellence in all aspects of the care of those living with cancer. We are patient advocates dedicated to providing the state-of-the-art cancer treatments, to healing the spirits as well as the body, and to easing the burden of our patients and their families.
About the St. Louis Peregrine Society: In 1948, a group of St. Louis women envision an organization dedicated solely to the purpose of providing services to those in our community suffering from cancer. Their dream became reality in 1949 when the St. Louis Peregrine Society was formed. The mission then as now was "to improve the quality of life of cancer patients living in St. Louis City and County."
Once described as "unique as the Arch", the Peregrine Society fills a void by providing services and supplies, not typically covered by insurance, to cancer patients and by assisting uninsured and underinsured patients with services critical to their care. All Services are provided free of charge.
