My Story…
Hello!
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) this past Feb of 2022.
I am learning that through my own will, love for my kids, husband and self, exercise, meditation, diet and support of my treatment team life does does not have to be half empty, but could be half full.
Adjusting to living with a progressive disease puts things in a new perspective and makes you value every day more.
I have always been very active in life playing sports including volleyball, basketball and softball. After meeting my husband I started running. Running has been the one thing that has always helped me . There is healing in movement!
I personally know the benefits of running and as a mental health professional I know how much running and exercise can help the central nervous system. Exercise also helps with muscle tone and making connections in the brain This is why I am choosing to run my FIRST full marathon as a Charity Runner for the FINISH MS program this May at the Pittsburgh Marathon
The MS society provides many resources and conducts research for those impacted by MS. Some of which I have already benefited from reading. Please join me in this journey by helping me in my own but also helping raise awareness and funds for everyone who is impacted by MS
Donate to help Angeline raise money for 2023 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend’s fundraising campaign.
