My Story…
Hello friends!
Ever since I began running Cross Country in high school, it was always a goal of mine to run a marathon, & now is finally the time! I completed a half marathon in Bird-in-Hand, PA last September & it is now culminating in my first full length marathon in Pittsburgh this May! I am so excited to physically & mentally compete against myself to accomplish this feat of 26.2 miles.
To make our first marathon a more meaningful experience, Grace & I are raising money for the Parkinson's Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. My late grandfather, Robert Clawson, had Parkinson's & I am dedicating this marathon to him. I am following his footsteps in becoming an educator, & also carrying on his lifelong competitive spirit!
