Dear Friends and Family,
As you may or may not know, in November 2019, our world was turned upside down when our daughter Cecilia was diagnosed with cancer. It was a shock that no parent should ever have to face, and the emotional toll it took on our family was immeasurable.
Throughout Cecilia's cancer journey, Campfire Circle played a crucial role in providing support, resources, and a community that helped her overcome this difficult challenge. Their amazing programs and staff were a beacon of hope during our darkest moments, and we will forever be grateful for their help.
Cecilia is now three years cancer-free and our gratitude for the organization has not waned. We still rely on their programs and staff to navigate the complexities of life post-cancer.
I am participating in the Sporting Life 10K to raise funds for Campfire Circle, a cause that is close to our family's hearts. With your support, we can help other families like ours access the vital resources and support that Campfire Circle provides.
Every dollar counts, and your contribution will help make a difference in the lives of families affected by cancer. Your support will help fund Campfire Circle's programs and services, including support groups, summer camps, art therapy, outdoor activities, and much more.

Help bring joy and laughter to kids affected by cancer or serious illness
A diagnosis of childhood cancer or serious illness changes life in an instant. For kids and families, their schedule suddenly revolves around medical appointments and hospital stays, with long absences from school. There is no time for simple joys like friendships, birthday parties or sport activities.
Campfire Circle is passionate about helping kids to just be kids, once again. By supporting their in-hospital, community and overnight camp programs, you will help bring joy and laughter to kids and families during their most challenging times, at no cost to them.
As part of the Campfire Circle community, you are helping to create opportunities year-round for kids to build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resiliency, and improve their overall wellbeing.
More than a thousand kids were diagnosed with cancer during the pandemic—the need is greater now more than ever. Your support ensures that Campfire Circle’s critical camp-inspired programs will reach even more kids and families across Ontario. Your gift makes life-changing experiences possible.
