Welcome to Team Cassie + Friends 2023!
Cassie + Friends is proud to be returning to the Around The Bay Road Race and Charity Challenge for our fourth year! As Canada's only charity focused 100% on kids and families affected by juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, we are looking forward to growing our team of patients, families, healthcare professionals from McMaster Children's Hospital to join us as we raise awareness and fundraise for a pain-free future for kids!
How Cassie + Friends helps kids in the Hamilton area:
- Parent Support & Equipment Cupboard (including much needed numbing cream, ice packs, splints, gas cards, parking funds, and grocery cards)
- Access to expert-led pediatric rheumatology webinars on topics such as Biologics, Methotrexate, Physical Activity, Nutrition, Self-care for Caregivers and more!
- Funding juvenile arthritis research through the launch of the Cassie + Friends Care & Research Network (CREW)
- NEW Youth Mentorship Program to support youth with rheumatic disease mental health
