Canada's Longest Running Marathon turns 59...
with a fresh new look!
For nearly six decades, the Servus Calgary Marathon has been at the forefront of running in this country, attracting runners from all over the world to discover our city while staying true to our western roots and loyal to our homegrown runners. The sport has evolved and so do the goals of our participants, which is why the Servus Calgary Marathon continues to rise up to meet the needs of our community.
Your Journey Starts Here
Participants will be able to choose between an in-person event on May 28, 2023 or the virtual race experience from May 28th to June 25th.
Choose your distance and run, walk or wheel 5KM, 10KM, 21.1KM, 42.2KM, or for the last time ever participate in the 50KM Ultra.
All participants can fundraise for any of our 80+ charities through the Charity Challenge.
We will be supporting you throughout your journey to the start line with complimentary Asics Runkeeper training plans, meet ups, beer nights, RunTalks and so much more. The commitment you make when you register is to yourself, but you are not alone.
And race day? That's a pretty sweet victory lap.
Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All registration fees are non-refundable. No race day registration or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals. Selling your race bib, or having another person use your bib in the event is strictly prohibited. This act may seem well intentioned but has many negative implications to the organizers and participants including liability, timing, results, awards and many other factors. If a registrant sells or gives away their race bib to another participant, they will not be allowed to participate in future events.
- Run Calgary has partnered with RegShield and you can purchase a protection policy on your registration if you have to cancel or can't make the event. RegShield is a protection product made for athletes by athletes. It provides coverage for 17 different roadblocks. These are the reasons that most athletes are unable to compete in their events. For more information regarding coverage, please click HERE for the outline of the Canadian program.
- Should the race not be able to go ahead because of local and provincial restrictions due to the pandemic or for any other reason, all registrants will automatically be converted into a virtual event.
GST & Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
