ARBI (Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured)

Raise money for ARBI (Association for the Rehabilitation of the Brain Injured)

For over 40 years, ARBI has been dedicated to making life better for individuals with acquired brain injuries.

We provide comprehensive community-based rehabilitation for brain injury and stroke survivors in a nurturing and encouraging environment. ARBI’s innovative treatment model and unique, personalized approach has successfully helped thousands of Albertans regain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Healthy Communities Thriving Together.

Our goal is to raise $70,000 to purchase an Xcite2 iFES. This medical device is highly effective in delivering therapy and strengthening hand, arm, leg, and core muscles that have experienced neurological weakness or paralysis due to stroke or other brain injuries. This device promotes recovery of the nervous system and would enhance our clients' rehabilitation goals of improved mobility and performing daily tasks such as eating or grooming by stimulating active muscle contractions with pre-programmed functional tasks.

The Xcite2 would allow ARBI to offer brain injury and stroke survivors an even greater opportunity to regain lost abilities, increase their independence, and reconnect with their communities. Every dollar donated will bring us closer to our goal of purchasing this life-changing equipment to help survivors reach their goals.
