For participating in Servus Calgary Marathon 2023

Our Team

It's me. Hi, I'm Sean Horton, it's me! Yes, yes, yes, if you think that Team Horton will beat Team Luke MacKinnon and Team Ashley Barber in the Calgary Marathon, then guess what, you are in the right place. Join my team!

Why will Sean Win?

Sean has been at Foothills for so long, that he knows everything about it. He will use his years of knowledge to figue out what he needs to do to win!

He is fluent in Echo-ish, which is the language our school mascot Echo speaks. If Sean can learn Falcon, he can learn ANYTHING!

Sean is good in tough situations, he has traveled around the world, and has the skills to navigate anywhere - even the finish-line!

When Sean was a child, he found a map with a lot of symbols and languages on it. He decoded it on his own and learned Japanese in the process. It turned out to be a map of Memorial Drive, which is where most of the marathon will take place! That has to count for something right?

What is Sean all about?

Sean is a world traveler who speaks multiple languages. That's right, his passport has so many stamps in it, it looks like an art project! He would love to hear about where you would like to visit.

He is a Theater Arts super fan. He has been to many plays, musicals, and theater productions. He even has a few monologues memorized!

Sean is caring and he makes sure everyone feels understood when they are with him. He always has time, patience, and compassion for those around him.
