Desjardins Charity Challenge, Ottawa Race Weekend

Jennifer Mbang is the Team Captain for the Reach Canada Team, and she is working with the Ottawa Legal Community to build a team that is dedicated to fostering access to justice for people with disabilities through its independent legal referral and educational services.

Take your place at the starting line with us to run, walk or roll in any of the 9 race categories on May 27-28 at the Ottawa Race Weekend (ORW) to raise money for the Reach Legal Programs. This year’s fundraising goal is $10,000. Please sign up for any of the ORW events or donate to support people with disabilities in your community. Thank you. See you at the starting line!

About Reach Legal Programs

Reach Canada merged with ABLE2 in January 2023, and is now known as the Reach Legal Programs. Its mission to foster access to justice, through its educational programs and independent legal referral services remains unchanged. Through its legal referral service, Reach works to connect people living disabilities and dealing with legal issues to community and legal resources. Individuals who are referred to a lawyer, paralegal or mediator on Reach's roster of legal professionals may receive up to 3 hours of free, confidential, and personal legal services.  Reach also makes referrals to community legal organizations.
