Help us raise money

With Run for a Reason, we are raising funds for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation!  In the last three years The Ottawa Hospital has done more for our family then we could ever imagine.  My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Medullary Thyroid Cancer 3 years ago at the young age of 29.  He has had a number of surgeries, underwent radiation, and recently was started on chemotherapy at The Ottawa Hospital.  He has always been taken care of so well by all of the staff at The Ottawa Hospital, and we will be forever grateful to have such amazing care so close to home.  Although there is currently no cure for late stage MTC, we believe raising money for Cancer Research at The Ottawa Hospital will make a difference.   

This year we are participating in Run for a Reason for the second time!  We will be doing our race virtually, right here in our community - Osgoode!  We are really excited to help more patients like my husband in our community.  If you would like to be a part of it (but hate the idea of running), you can help us raise our goal of $20,000 to fund great health care - or dust off those sneakers and join us anyway!
