My Story…
On May 15, 2023, this crazy fool is planning to be back at it again! I will be attempting to run 59 km at Shades Mills Conservation, on my 59th birthday! A personal goal I have done over the past few years.
My plan is to do this, on my actual birthday, two days after Co Race Directing the Conquer the Canuck trail race.
Last August I had my deformed ring toe removed as it was giving me a lot of grief while training and racing. Since the toe removal, I have had to change my running style to maintain more balance while running, and it has taken lots of work to get to 50 km in one week in 4-5 runs. This year I plan to return to Shades Mills and attempt to run 59 km, in support again, for KidsAbility and I feel more determined than ever to get the job done!
In my last 6.25 km loop, I plan to wear my Clown outfit to show my true colours! 😊
It would be amazing if you are able to make a donation, of any size, to help keep me motivated as I prepare for this challenge.
I would like to extend my thanks again to those who donated last year on my 58th. I would be thrilled to exceed last year’s amount for donations to this worthy cause!
Thanks,
Nine Toe Tony
