P2A CENTO
P2A CENTO REGISTRATION IS CLOSING SUNDAY MARCH 12 AT 11:59PM
CENTO means "one hundred" in Italian, which is the approximate distance of this race. It is derived from Latin meaning a patchwork, like a quilt or jacket, or in our case a patchwork of roads, trails, farms etc. We had very positive feedback from the 2022 event. Racers enjoyed the new roads, hills and trails, and the longer distance of about 110KM. The famous mud pits of the P2A Classic and of course the legendary climb to the finish are included. The start is in Paris of course!
Canadian Gravel Championships registration will remain open. In order to register you need to enter a valid 2023 race license.
P2A CLASSIC
The legendary race. Since 1994 competitors have fought each other, and sometimes the elements, over this course. Overall it is a tough, approximately 70K, ride with some good hills and those mud pits! The start is in North Dumfries Township, just south of Cambridge, with a challenging combo of trails and hills.
P2A BRÈVE
Compared to the other P2A race distances it is brief, or "brève" in french. Starting in 2001 we have offered a shorter race. Many people have said "It's only 45K". Then they wonder why they are hitting the wall at the finish. Don't underestimate it. It is a very fast race. The start is in the community of St George.
