My Story…
I have participated in the P2A bike race /ride eight times since 2012 . It's become my spring cycling tradition to participate in this Classic Ontario multi-terrain bike race. I look forward to riding the course again in April 2023, with some friends and a huge contingent of other enthusiastic cyclists.
This year I want to contribute more than my annual, registration form donation, to their fund raising goals. To do this I'm encouraging others to also make donations to the St. Josephs Healthcare Foundation, Hamilton. You can donate directly from this page and your donation will be added to my donation drive page.
Ontario's public healthcare service funding and staffing problems have heightened my awareness of the important work being done by public health professionals. Please join me in contributing to this great cause. This year I donated $ 25. and asking you to match my contribution.
My fundraising Goal is to raise $500. for St Joe's. Thats twenty times the amount I have donated.
My ride results goal in April is to finish the P2A all-terrain 70 km. course in 2 h. : 45 min. That will be a quest of a personal best set in 2019.

On Sunday, April 30, 2023, I’ll be participating in the Paris to Ancaster: A Ride for Research in support of St. Joe’s.
We call it a Ride for Research because funds raised through the Paris to Ancaster will fund vital healthcare research underway at St. Joe’s. The pledges you raise could be helping to fund the largest national study EVER into the leading cause of blindness for Canadians. Or helping to launch more clinical trials – in addition to the 54 clinical trials that are already happening at the Hospital. Researchers at St. Joe’s are already changing the way that urologic surgeries are performed with robotics, too! These are just a few examples of REAL RESEARCH happening RIGHT NOW at our Hospital.
The research being done at St. Joe’s changes lives. So please help me on my Ride for Research by making a donation today to help me reach my fundraising goal!
