My Story…
I am excited to be in the P2A 20K ride for research again this year. This is my fourth year in this event. The first year I rode on the 2 year anniversary of my mom's passing. She suffered with heart disease and I ride for my heart health and for monies raised to support research into heart disease and many other disease areas. I'm proud to work in clinical research at St. Joes. I know the monies raised will support research in many areas of the hospital to gain discoveries to improve our overall health. On Sunday, April 30, 2023, I’ll be participating in the Paris to Ancaster: A Ride for Research in support of St. Joe’s.
We call it a Ride for Research because funds raised through the Paris to Ancaster will fund vital healthcare research underway at St. Joe’s. The pledges you raise could be helping to fund the largest national study EVER into the leading cause of blindness for Canadians. Or helping to launch more clinical trials – in addition to the 54 clinical trials that are already happening at the Hospital. Researchers at St. Joe’s are already changing the way that urologic surgeries are performed with robotics, too! These are just a few examples of REAL RESEARCH happening RIGHT NOW at our Hospital.
The research being done at St. Joe’s changes lives. So please help me on my Ride for Research by making a donation today to help me reach my fundraising goal!
