For 45 years the Johnny Miles Running Event Weekend has offered something for everyone. We offer a mainly flat, scenic loop course with lots of support along the way and a finish line experience you will never forget. We pride ourselves in putting on an event that will exceed your expectations for a running event and for hospitality. Our friendly, helpful volunteers go out of their way to make sure your experience is as enjoyable and rewarding as it can be. We also feel we offer the best value in road racing in Eastern Canada.

Advocate Half Marathon Closed
The Advocate Half Marathon is a flat two loop Athletics Canada Certified Route. The Half Marathon starts with the 10km race at 9:05 am after the 5 km leaves the starting-line.

The Sobeys 10 km Closed
The Sobeys 10km is a single loop course and certified by Athletics Canada. The Sobeys 10km starts at 9:05 am with the Advocate Half Marathon.

The CIBC Wood Gundy 5km course is a Athletics Canada Certified Course. The 5km race and the Youth Challenge start at 9:00am.

The Shiretown Dental Clinic Youth Challenge Closed
The Youth Challenge follows the same route as the CIBC Wood Gundy 5km. This event is not a timed event. It starts with the CIBC Wood Gundy 5km at 9:00 am. For ages 14 and under.
