The Annual Cultus Lake Triathlon is held each year at Cultus Lake Park just outside Chilliwack, BC. Located a 90 minute drive from Vancouver it is a great end of season race for both the seasoned and first time triathlete hosting Sprint, Standard, Aquabike and Long Course races.
THE COURSE
The swim is in Cultus Lake and is divided into separate swim waves. The transition is located on the grass area between the lake and the Main Beach parking Lot.
You will finish the final leg of the race on the run course alongside the lake and past summer cottages, while local residents cheer you on to the finish line!
The race starts and finishes beside the lake at Main Beach and the post-race awards are held onsite, weather permitting.

We are offering athletes the option to add insurance to their race entry...this will allow you to register with confidence knowing that in the event of the following circumstances you will be able to recover your entry fees:
- Last minute work conflicts
- Injuries
- Family emergencies
- Unexpected illness
- Car accidents
- And several more common issues that can sneak up.

With the addition of this option we have a no rollover/refund policy is in place to ensure we are prepared well ahead of race day to execute a premium event. This policy is applied to all entries and athletes without prejudice.
All race entries are NON-REFUNDABLE.
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to not opt in for coverage you will forfeit your option to recoup any costs associated with your registration.
Race Transfers - In the event that you are unable to race in an event that you are currently registered, race transfers to another one of our Series events in the SAME calendar year are possible up until 2 weeks from the race day you are currently registered for.
A transfer fee of $50 + Race Roster processing fees will be applied to ALL transfers, regardless of distance of the original registration.
Registration pricing differences will be applied if the transfer is to an event with a higher entry fee.
If you have opted in for registration protection for your original race entry and choose to transfer to another event, this will nullify your policy and your new event entry will NOT be covered under your original policy.
Cancellation due to weather or unsafe conditions: An event may be delayed or cancelled due to adverse, inclement, or unsafe weather. Should the event be delayed, the starting time of the event will be moved back accordingly. The delay will be communicated to all participants. Event management team and local law enforcement have the authority to cancel an event if deemed unsafe to continue. If cancellation of an event takes place, please follow instructions of the event officials and local law enforcement personnel. Your entry fee is non-refundable in the event the race is cancelled due to adverse, inclement, or unsafe weather. Registration Protection does NOT cover cancellation due to weather. The only exception is if the event takes place and you are unable to get to it because of weather, i.e. a cancelled flight.
Advertised Courses: All of our events and courses are planned well in advance and advertised in good faith as such. As with all events, permitting does not occur until closer to the event date by those agencies which we are required to submit our applications. As such, all courses are considered pending approval of final permit and may, due to unforeseen circumstances, such as construction, flooding or other uncontrollable acts and may be changed to ensure distance, permit approval and athlete safety. Course changes will be shared with registered athletes as soon as they have been confirmed with all stakeholders. Entry fees are non-refundable in the event of a course change. Registration protection does NOT cover change in desire to participate in the event of a course change.
