Where: Kenner lakefront - Event site is located on Lake Pontchartrain at the end of Williams Blvd., just west of the Kenner Boat Launch and the Treasure Chest Casino.
Race day schedule times:
7:00 am - Race Day packet pickup and Race Day registration opens at race site
8:00 am - Start of 10 Mile & 10K Division
8:15 am - Start of 5K Division
The Laketown 10 Mile, 10K distance events offer excellent and economic training opportunities in a quality race environment great for the many upcoming MARATHON & Half-Marathons that take place ALL OVER THE Universe .. !
10 Mile Course time limit is 2 hours, 45 minutes. Please observe course time limit
PARKING: Plenty of " free " parking at Lakefront Parking lots by the race site and on the south side of the levee between Williams Blvd., and the Pontchartrain Center.

ENTRY FEES: * Reasonable for middle to long distance races (compare to others distance race fees upwards of $60.00 to over $150.00)
10 Mile: $40.00 by Oct 31st, $45.00 by Dec 1st, $50.00 by Jan 30th, $60.00 on Race Day. Seniors $35.00 by Jan 30th, $40.00 day of race
10K & 5K: $25.00 by Oct 31st, $30.00 by Dec 1st, $35.00 by Jan 30th, $40.00 on Race Day.
5K & 10K - Discounted entry fees for Youth division entrants ( age 17- under )
5K/10K/10 Mile - Discounted entry fees for Senior division entrants (age 65-over)
* Proof of age required at packet / race number bib pickup * Because you probably look a lot younger than you really are !
ON-LINE REGISTRATION CLOSES on Monday, January 30th ( NOON )
In Person Registration will be available on day of race opening at 7:00 am at the event site and will be available at the pre-race day packet pickup event
Packet Pickup - Pre-Race day: Thursday, Feb 2nd ( 4 pm - 6 pm ) hosted by Ron Jewelers, 4103 Williams Blvd., Kenner
Packet Pickup day of race: ( Saturday, Feb 4 ) at race site, opening at 7:00 am
Registration IN PERSON available at Packet Pickup pre and day of race
T-Shirts: BAW Brand tech fabric LONG SLEEVE t-shirts.
Available is Sizes Adult Small thru XXLG.
* Upcharge of $3.00 applied each for size XX-Large
Event Safety notices.
* NORSI / NOLArunning.com strongly suggests to NOT use any headphones, ear gear or similar devices that limit ones ability to hear important event instructions.
* Please be respectful of other runners/walkers on the course. This event course is on a paved jogging pathway that is narrow ( about 9 feet wide ) keep to right side on way out and back. Please use trash cans located nearby each course water station. If discarding clothing on course , please place at one of the water stations. There will be a lead bike for each distance, No ear gear to be able to hear instructions from bike rider regarding oncoming lead runners. ( Keep to the Right.. !! )
*Running or Walking with pets and strollers is discouraged, not recommended
* An EMS unit will be stationed at the race site and Levee district police officers will be on course during the event. Should you need medical attention or see another participant that needs medical attention please wave down the nearest levee board officer or a volunteer at each water station to relay details to the race site EMS unit.

Custom medallions presented to finishers in all three event distances ( 5K / 10K / 10 Miler )
Award divisions:
5K: 1st overall and 1st, 2nd place age groups: 14-under, 15-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-over
10K: 1st overall Open Division, 1st overall Masters Division: 1st and 2nd place age groups: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-over
10 Mile: 1st overall Open Division and 1st Overall Masters Division: 1st and 2nd Place age groups: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 ,70-over
Race Walkers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall in the 5K. Awards for Race Walkers in 10K and 10 Mile race to be determined
* If competing in the official Race Walker Division, please check in on day of race at Race Walker scoring eligibility table.
Scoring / Timing Systems: Event is CHIP TIMED. Timing chip is attached to back side of your race number bib. Please wear bib on front only and visible to finish line officials. Do not bend the bib or timing chip please.
