Run Calgary invites you to be a part of Calgary's only Halloween Night Race. This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event and a beloved Halloween tradition for families! With a 1 km kids' race, 5 km walk/run, and 10 km run, there's something for everyone!

We've put together a full evening of Halloween festivities that are sure to entertain all the goblins and ghouls in your life. We're inviting all participants to join us before the races to explore our Halloween fun fest! Satisfy your sweet tooth with some trick-or-treating or enjoy free face painting. Then, get into character for the Halloween photo booth and spook-tacular family dance party!
Join us and come dressed up in your creative costumes, and don't forget the costume for your pooch! All costumes, both human and pets, will be eligible for awards! The best dog costume will also win a prize package and, most importantly, they will be featured on the 2024 medal and shirt!
Register early to guarantee your shirt size. This event sells out, and shirts are ordered well in advance of race day.

Registering as a family or group? Take advantage of our family-friendly pricing. Register 3 or more participants at one time and receive an automatic 10% discount at checkout (discount excludes Kids' race)
Please note: There is no minimum age to participate in the 5KM race. Children are permitted to walk/run or be pushed in a stroller. We ask that those with strollers start in the last starting corral.
Children 6 and over must be registered to participate. Children under 6 who are not registered, will not receive a swag bag, medal or any amenities at the finish line. Young children interested in receiving a swag bag and medal can sign up for the 1KM Kids Race.

Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals under any circumstances. Selling your race bib, or having another person use your bib in the event is strictly prohibited. This act may seem well intentioned but has many negative implications to the organizers and participants including liability, timing, results, awards and many other factors. If a registrant sells or gives away their race bib to another participant, they will not be allowed to participate in future events.
- Protect your purchase by enrolling in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. Participants that enroll in the refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as injury & illness, COVID-19, severe weather, work travel conflict, layoffs/termination or mechanical breakdown. GST & Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee plus 5% GST, in addition to the race entry fee.
