Known as “The People's Marathon”, the Emera Blue Nose Marathon welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to promote and celebrate healthy living and active lifestyles. It is one of the most anticipated community events each year in Halifax.
The event includes:

- Personalized race bib (if registered by 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2023)

- Routes with stunning views
Please note, strollers, baby joggers, baby backpacks/carriers, and pets are not permitted on the course.

All prices are subject to 15% HST and an online processing fee.
“No Sweat” Policy
Emera Blue Nose Marathon is proud to offer registration deferment to the following year, in lieu of our no refund policy. A confirmed and paid registration can be cancelled for any reason until 5:00PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and carried forward to the 2024 race year. Refunds are not permitted. Participants who wish to take advantage of the No Sweat Policy will be required to pay a fee of $17.50 +HST on adult events and $8.50 +HST on youth events upon registering the next year.
Blue Nose Marathon also offers the option to transfer a race registration to another distance or participant. All transfers are subject to a $1.95 +HST and processing fee.
Transfers can be completed until 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

Virtual Run - Race Kit Pick Up Closed
A virtual run can be completed from any location you choose—you can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, or on the track. Available distances are 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. Your race kit, including your medal, will be available for pick up during Kit Pick Up times - TBD. After you have completed your run and uploaded your time, you will receive your digital Finished'er certificate!
