At Ocean View we believe that providing our clients with comfort, care and compassion is about more than the simple necessities. It’s about helping them feel a sense of calm and safety in a home-like environment. It’s about helping find purpose through engaging activities, and it’s about making small improvements that make a big difference in the way they experience life here day-to-day.

We’re able to achieve these goals through the support of community donors.

Thanks to generous contributions over the years, Ocean View has been able to fund some significant projects, the following are a few of our accomplishments:

• Renovations to our Neighbourhood Kitchens to support a more home-like meal time for residents.
• Creation of our Bethune Garden, a dementia-friendly garden where wandering is encouraged!
• Purchase of a new Resident Bus to allow meaningful and exciting outings into our local community.
• Creation of the new Deveaux Room, a private room for Palliative Care.
• Purchase of much-needed Resident Equipment to improve day-to-day life of residents.
• Subsidies for Programs to increase support for seniors living in our community.
• A variety of Beautification Projects to help Ocean View feel more like home.
