Description

Cassie + Friends is a national, patient and parent-led organization whose mission is to transform the lives of children and families affected by Juvenile Arthritis and other rheumatic diseases through research, connection, information and support. Since 2007, we have raised over $3 million towards our vision of a pain-free future for kids.

We hope you'll join our team for our very first year in the Bluenose Marathon and Scotiabank Charity Challenge! This is why we run and hope you will too:

• Our finish line is a pain-free future for all kids with rheumatic disease
• We want to offer more opportunities for research, information, connection and support for IWK rheumatology families
• As part of our team, you'll help raise funds for our monthly Virtual Education series, Parent Support Network, local Teen Arthritis Groups and more

One of our team's major goals is to raise $5000 for a brand new C+F Family Support/Equipment Cupboard at IWK. We've already been working with your rheumatology team to put together a wish list of medical equipment and other aids (numbing cream, braces, hot/cold packs etc.) to help kids and families minimize pain and stay active. We need your help to make our project a reality!
