According to the well-known phrase, my life begins this year, and what better way to celebrate than to take on a few marathons, one for every decade!
This will be my second marathon, the Halifax Bluenose Marathon. For this Marathon, I am lucky enough to be coinciding it with a visit to see my brother, sister in law and our kiddies who are also joining in with the running and fundraising.
For this marathon, we will be running for a charity that is a bit closer to my heart, CCRAN, who raise awareness of Colorectal Cancer and support patients and caregivers in a meaningful way to make a significant difference in their lives. Thank you CCRAN, without you so many more memories would never have been made.
I would be so happy if I could make it over the line knowing my fundraising target has been acheived and will appreciate anything you can spare for this very worthy charity.
