For those of you shocked at the idea of me running a marathon- rest assured that I have chosen to participate in the 5 km virtual event and plan to swim the distance again this year. For the past two years, I've enjoyed participating in the Blue Nose Charity Challenge, knowing that the money I raised was going to a cause I wholeheartedly support: Nourish Nova Scotia. This organization supports children and youth to be healthy learners so they can reach their potential in the classroom and in life. What's not to love about that?

Good Food = Good Thinking
Students who are well-nourished are better able to learn, behave better and have better attendance. Run or walk for Nourish to help create and support healthy school communities across the province.
