My Story…
Over the past 3 years, someone I love very much has been struggling every day living with an Eating Disorder. It is hard to understand, it is incredibly scary and it can be perceived as hard (but not impossible) to overcome. Commonly referred to as "ED", Eating Disorders can be gripping, controlling, and seemingly in charge.
I'm running in a relay team with my workplace this year for the Bluenose race. But I'm fundraising for Eating Disorders Nova Scotia - as more programs and funding is needed to expand short and long term care, to bring more awareness and peer support groups for Eating Disorders in the province of Nova Scotia.
