My Story…
I'm back in the boat again this year to participate with my amazing team (Paddlin Hellfish) in the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival. This event is one of my favourites of the season; in addition to the camaraderie and outdoor fun, I love raising money to support the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation (ODBF.)
Every year the ODBF supports local community groups, and this year I love how they are focusing especially on supporting children and families in need. The 4 charities we are raising money for include: Assume Ottawa, Waupoos Foundation, Christie Lake Kids & Helping With Furniture.
I would greatly appreciate your donation to help us support "kids being kids" and "families being families." No donation is too small and every dollar helps support these charities.
